1. To develop regulations, rules and processes within the function of the Mekong Center;
2. To develop and to coordinate with relevant UEH-affiliated nits in terms of enrollment, organization and management of international joint training programs;
3. To develop a plan and to organize the implementation of training programs for foreign language majors as well as to organize the teaching of foreign language courses at all levels and training systems at UEH Campus in accordance with the general plan of UEH and UEH Vinh Long Branch. To manage professional work and to supervise all learners under the responsibility and authority as prescribed by UEH and UEH Campus;
4. To formulate plans and to organize the implementation of training and retraining programs in order to improve foreign language and computer skills to meet UEH learners’ needs;
5. To develop and to coordinate with relevant UEH-affiliated Units in terms of recruitment, training and joint training of short-term training courses;
6. To coordinate with UEH Branch Office in formulating plans and organizing the implementation of the establishment, connection and organization of international cooperation activities at UEH - Vinh Long Branch;
7. To plan and to implement activities to promote, to invite, and to organize the implementation of domestic and international research projects;
8. To develop plans and to organize the relation implementation with the enterprises and the localities to sign cooperation agreements and to coordinate in the implementation of enrollment, training and other tasks of UEH Vinh Long Branch;
9. To plan and to organize additional activity implementation other than Undergraduate and Graduate training activities at UEH Vinh Long Branch;
10. To plan and to organize the implementation of scientific and technological activities, to cooperate in training within the functional scope of the Center. To develop a plan to enhance, to train and to foster the staff of the Center. To manage human resources, facilities and additional assigned means and equipment effectively;
11. To coordinate with Units under UEH Vinh Long Branch to perform tasks arising during Vinh Long Branch’s operation;
12. To perform other tasks within the functions of Mekong Center and other tasks assigned by UEH Branch Manager.
