UEH English Zone has returned with diverse and colorful activities in March. Not only creating an environment for UEH students to practice their English skills, this month, UEH English Zone (EZ) has breathed life into language learning through exciting artistic activities. Let's get into the highlights of this month with EZ!
Spreading love - Gratitude for companions
In the journey of growing up and maturing, perhaps the luckiest thing is to have close friends, those who accompany us regardless of joy or sorrow. But sometimes we hardly have the opportunities to express our gratitude to our loved ones. Understanding that, on March 7th, BELL English Club co-organized with UEH English Zone the event Speaking Group Extended: Friendtastic to create opportunities for students to "flex" about their best friends, and at the same time make new friends. And to take friendship to the next level, the Speaking Group Extended: Mutual Masterpieces was held on March 21st. In this session, students were able to team up with their best friend to draw a picture using their own unique artistic materials, this will probably be a memorable memory in their friendship journey.

In the same spirit, on March 14th, English Zone Coffee Talk organized by the School of Foreign language and UEH EZ returned after a hiatus. Coming back and better than ever, ECOFF #36 brought a completely new free talk format, students can freely share personal experiences, discuss any topic and spread knowledge and spirit to everyone.

Love and Art - Two but one?
March is probably one of the most colorful months at EZ with a series of "new" activities. EZ Talks this month has undergone a remarkable transformation. Not simply discussing a topic, EZ has cleverly combined English learning with different art forms. Starting modestly with Fearcelous to commemorate International Women's Day, students had the opportunity to discuss and express their love for the superheroines of their lives.
Next with the theme Marshmallow Day - White Valentine's Day, participants learned how to make colorful and beautiful bracelets to give to their "valentine". However, the most special thing to mention is probably the last two sessions of the month. The Poetez, held on March 19th, was the first time poetry was brought to UEH EZ. In this session, participants got the chance to explore poetry in a different language and different culture. Also, they got to challenged themselves to create their first works.
And the last session of the month, EzTheater, where students watched award-winning short films right at the English Zone and discussed them, developing their English debating skills while enjoying good and meaningful films, it's "a kill two birds with one stone" deal, right?
Immerse yourself in emotional activities at EZ Talks sessions
Not only did the EZ Talks section get a new format, Board Games didn't fall behind with the new "Virus" board game - a card game that combines all the elements: fun, easy to understand, but still very competitive, which brought a very exciting atmosphere to English Zone right from the first trial round. Besides, the "classic" board games like: Werewolf, Exploding Kitten and Coup also reappeared and maintained their form as always.
