Ms. Nguyen Thuy Minh Chau - Director of ACCA Mekong shares
At the seminar, the students were shared multi-dimensional perspectives by Shark Thai Van Linh on topics such as: Current reality about the gap between knowledge and skills of students; what employers expect from candidates, especially GenZ; experience on how to transform knowledge into practical work and master one's own skills (advantages, difficults); steps to determine priority skills that need to be cultivated; how to choose an effective learning and training channel, environment to apply the learned knowledge.
Shark Linh advises young people whenever they want to change jobs, they must accept that they may have to start from scratch and need to ignore their ego to learn as much as possible. It doesn't matter what you're doing, what you're learning, what your first job is; it's important that you're really good at what you're doing, then it's easier to switch between jobs. Two years is the minimum amount of time for you to stick with a job; Thus, it is possible to create trust in the eyes of employers. To succeed, you have to work hard!
