On June 20, 2024, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) welcomed the delegation from University of Saint Joseph, Macau on an official visit to sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with UEH.
Attending the MOA signing ceremony, on behalf of University of Saint Joseph, there was the presence of Prof. Stephen Morgan - Rector, Prof. Álvaro Barbosa - Vice Rector of international cooperation and academic activities, and Ms. Ivy Tran - Head of Admissions in Vietnam.
Welcoming University of Saint Joseph, UEH representatives included Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - University Director; Dr. Dinh Cong Khai - Deputy Director of the University; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Duong Phuong Thao - Deputy Head of Research - Development and Global Engagement, and Dr. Yi Dong Su - Deputy Dean of the School of Media Design.
Overview of the meeting
At the official meeting, UEH and University of Saint Joseph (USJ) discussed USJ's participation in co-organizing the RTD 2024 and ATF24 International Conference; USJ’s support in training lecturers and students for UEH; organizing study tours for USJ students to UEH in March 2025 and awarding scholarships to UEH students (School of Media Design) in the dual degree program. The MOA signing ceremony between UEH and University of Saint Joseph took place under the witness of all attending delegates.

The MOA signing ceremony on June 20, 2024 opened many opportunities for cooperation between UEH and University of Saint Joseph, Macau, especially in the fields of art, science, technology, business, law, and design, etc. towards the multi-disciplinary development of UEH. UEH and USJ expressed their desire to further tighten the cooperative relationship between the two sides to develop together in all fields.
