Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony between UEH and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

After implementing cooperative activities with extremely remarkable achievements of Memorandum of Understanding between the 2 institutions signed in 2017, ACCA played a significantly important role when being a sponsor for intensive courses in accounting and auditing for lecturers of School of Accounting as well as a number of contests, extracurricular activities, and study-promoting scholarships for students of the School.

Based on attained achievements and advancing the cooperation between both  organizations to a closer and more comprehensive level, UEH and ACCA were prompted to sign an expanded Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The contents of this MoU resigning, apart from expanding available cooperative activities between 2 organizations are, imply the most crucial content raised which is an agreement promoting internationalization and vocation features for the syllabi of the School.

Participation Objectives:

• In terms of UEH: UEH Board of Management, Board of Management of UEH College of Business, Heads of School of Accounting, Heads of Departments, Directors of Programs, and International Professional Association Integrated Program-Designing Groups.
• In terms of ACCA: Director of ACCA in ANZ ASEAN Region, Head of Representatives of ACCA Vietnam;
• Distinguished Guests: Head of Department of Higher Education (MOET), Deputy Ambassador of the UK, Deputy General Director of PwC Vietnam, Vice President of Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants.
